Hi all little help.

2002 Mk3 Mondeo Zetec S TDCi 130bhp.

got car as a non runner and what the owner said happen looked like a glow plug prob. Old glow plugs not workin replaced and workin coil light stops flashing on dash.

Now we find there no fuel going to the engine.

Fuel filter looked new so took it off and filled it up with fuel but no fuel being pushed down the out pipe.
Have put some more fuel into the car incase it also has a faulty fuel display.

have plug a computer in and no faults shown.

any idea people, is it the fuel pump the last owner said he was driving it the coil light start to flash and it cut out that was it witch should mean glow plugs or relay.


any help be brill.

 

The first thing that I would be doing with it is to try some easy start(No loads though as they dont really like it) in it and see if it works.By doing this you will eliminate any sensors or electricals. These things are prone to fuel pump failure which causes massive problems.
