1985 series 1
1985 custom series 1 rs turbo.I have owned this car for just over 5 years.Last year it went under major surgery.I decided that i wanted to have it a little faster.
All work was undertaken at NMS and i have all reciepts to prove
stage 2 rst engine
brand new bottom end with H section steel con-rods and forged cosworth pistons.
head has been re-worked,ported,faced and re-built with stainless valves and a NMS spec solid lifter cam shaft
NMS spec T3 turbo
AP six paddle clutch
CTS stage 1 gearbox
Aquamist water injection
Weber stand alone full management conversion inc all wiring
Boost has been mapped to peak at 26psi and rev limiter has been increased to hard cut at 7200rpm
oil cooler
new bosch fuel pump
rear disc conversion
recent oil change useing mobil1
underneath has just been undersealed
boost,water,oil and vaults gauges
4xproxes toyo tr1s
5 previous owners
original bill of receipt
professional vented bonnet
i only tax this car for 6 months of the year and try and take it out when its dry!
Recently i took it on a rollin road and it made just over 257 bhp and approx the same in torque,to which i was very impressed!!this car in my opinion is a very solid car with no rust anywhere.The reason i am selling is i am looseing interest more and more each year,i do look after the car as you could ask anyone in my local rs group i am a bit of a bufty,it sounds amazing and goes like stink.
MOT runs out in march and shouldnt fail
the car has done about 106,000 miles think i brought it with approx 99,000 on the clock.ive had 2 engines in it the latest only done about 3,000 miles.
price to sell is £7500 ono

ill add to this ,i went out in this car about 2 years ago when i was in the market for one
this car is soo clean and straight ,it was stupid fast before he had all the work done ,so i guess its nuts now lol
i very clean S1 and worth the asking price
