Hi to all

I have a 03 1.4 fiesta and im seriously considering a 2.0 duratec turbo conversion from a focus rs. I would also like to say that im a mechanic so i do know what im getting into i have done similar things before with other makes of cars. i would just like a bit of advice from people who have done this before, i know your on here somewere . any potential or major problems i may incur or just general bits of help or tips anyone can give me.

Dont use a focus rs engine.

It is a nightmare if you want to use stock managment and even if you dont it is alot of work to fit an old zetec engine.

A fiesta st engine is a proper duratec. It will bolt right in and the stock st ecu can be remapped for a turbo.

The duratec from a fiesta st bolts right in and is a much much better engine.

 

easy swap ,management can be a problem tho , use aftermarket job done!
