Here's a brand new website, forum & information resource for the MK3 & MK4 Escort..
www.escortmk3.com
Launched today I think, it caters for the base models right up to the performance ones, MK3 & MK4.
Hopefully some members from here will sign up..

Do we need more forums?
This site would be awesome if everyone that flitted around on all the small scale sites just joined up on here. The amount of info that could be pooled together, the size of the meets and the number of restos etc would all be something amazing.
So I've no idea why anyone would create yet more forums for a marque that is well covered.

Think you are missing the point mate, escortmk3.com is a specialist site for MK3s & MK4s, going into far more detail than a large site like Passionford does or can. On escortmk3.com there are specialist sections about Ghia, GL, base models, etc.. that only people with those cars will want in detail. Cossies, Turbos and such are well covered on PF, but the lesser models are overlooked..
Saying why don't we just all pool together on one site is like saying lets have no specialist forums at all.. something like allcars.com (i just made that site up so people don't search it) which just covers all cars.. no need for PF..!
Or transport.com - and add buses, trains, skateboards, feet....
Seriously though, it's about choice, I see you have a Cossie, so it's easy for you to get info, but other people with lesser cars struggle..

Good luck with it in that case, only reason I grumble is I'm already a member of so many sites (due to the cars I own, or am interested in) and have to keep hunting everywhere to find all the stuff I want.
Would like a combined Passionford, Mitsubishi Lancer Register, Evoowners.co.uk, Pistonheads, Ebay, EscortRSCosworth.com website... make my life easier
Well reasoned reply, fair shout
