Is there a problem with the handling on these cars as ive been looking at buying one over the last month or so.

To-date i have found 6 catD,obviousely theres the good ones that havent had a payout on, but was wondering why theres so many catD's about?

I don't know about accident damage but there was a real spate of these getting stolen with keys! Maybe that's part of it.

Steve,

There is no problem with handling, just the fact that they are a fwd turbo car that are being being driven by people with no concept of how to drive one.

We replaced the missus's ST200 with one about two months ago and I love driving it as much as she does. COmpared with the 535D I drive daily it is a little go cart.

We are getting her's Mountuned shortly as it will not affect the warranty and is recognised by the insurance as an ST260 then.

I wouldnt say there is a problem with the way they handle.
Possibly down to the power they have, and number of them on the road; 550 for sale on ebay as a pose to around 180 Astra VXR's. Seem pretty common imo.

Twitchy in the wet cornering IMO, maybe people expect them to grip at far too high a speed in wet.
ESP comes in too soon also.
