What's peoples general opinion on them as I am looking at one for sale just now.
Any common down falls etc and what kind of money should I pay for it
It's done about 78k with lots of service and mots etc. owner said its got no rust on body work had sills done plus a few other bits underneath but says its very solid.

Seen it mate looks really nice but buying a house as well and she would kill me if I spent that on another toy. Looking at spending 2 k max as I have a bike as well.

It's a 16v XR2i with an extra 15bhp. Not a bad car but nowhere near quick. Would do better buying a 2i then dropping a 2l silvertop in it

 

Like these, simple to drive and look after and rare.

 

these are going up in value all the time as there is not that many left get it bought

I drove a 1.6 16 mk3 fiesta si and that seemed to go well.

 

Good cars had a couple of them but they rust like fook

Loved mine. , had Rose jointed lower arms and avo coilovers. Chipped ecu with rev limiter moved to 8k. And a s2 LSD in a short ratio box ( Orion 1.4 )

And she flew. Spanked my 200bhp Rs turbo. Best car I've had, wish inever sold it but a brake caliper come loose at 130 and never trusted it after that
