Default Running at 2000rpm

Hi all,

I haverecently had some bits and pieces painted in my engine bay. I have refitted everything and used new gaskets but now its running at 2000rpm on idle. I have tried disconnecting sensors, cleaning them but still no joy.

It also seems like its running boost on idle as my dump valve is constantly blowing off.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated

Steven

Seems there's a vacuumleak somewhere. Easiest is to spray some brakecleaner
around the intake and dumpvalve, if the revs rise there's the leak.
Also try disconnecting the ISCV.

Cheers chaps. I'm gonna disconnect all unnecessary items (bnoost gauge, D/V) and see how we go from there after they are blanked
