HELP - Internal Curved Vane Vented Discs
Just fitting some new curved vane vented discs to my car (internal curved vanes) ....which way should the vane curve go (don't think the discs are marked left or right)?
If looking at the top of the disc should the vane point to the front of the car of the back?

Found it:
"Which direction should the discs rotate?
It is a popular misconception that the slots or drillings in a disc determine the direction of rotation. In truth, for an internally vented disc, the geometry of the vanes dictates the direction of rotation. There are three vane types in use:
Straight
Pillar vane (comprised of many small posts)
Curved vane
The first two vane types are non-directional, and can be used on either side of the vehicle. The curved vane disc, however, is directional. A curved vane disc must be installed with the vanes running back from the inside to outside diameters in the direction of rotation. Please see figure. Orienting the disc in the manner creates a centrifugal pump. The rotation of the disc causes air to be pumped from the center of the disc, through the vanes, and out through the outside diameter of the disc. This greatly enhances the disc's ability to dissipate heat.
Additionally, all of Brembo's slotted discs are directional as well, regardless of the vane geometry. The discs should be installed such that the end of the slot nearest the outer edge of the disc contacts the pad first. Please see figure."

Very good site....thank god I guessed the right way...really didn't fancy taking them all off again and swopping the discs around

so they work well then
ya need to fit 16's to it for ultimate handling and also to make em look hoooooooge
there thick rotors aint they
oh and the reason they aint got vanes is they dont make em with vanes anymore, paul on here has a set from brom for his erst and he couldnt get grooved rotors either
the AP ones would have been sooooo much more money though and all ya get is grooves
looks the part though

Before:

Surprised the they don't look 'THAT' big behind the wheels really
Hopefully I've sorted the spining of tendancy as I've just re-bled them.
They didn't fit straight on btw I needed to file out one of the holes out by about 2mm to get them on.
