I reckon ive been clocked 'speeding' I was Going along Ashby road in scunthorpe if anyone knows it and theres one of them pissing mobile vans with a camera tucked behind another transit...I reckon i was doing bang on 30 but if i was speeding I was only doing maybe 31-32 MAX! in a 30 zone, problem is, im on provisional, its all i need! Im one for watching my speed too! whats the odds of me actually getting 3 points and when would i find out if i have?

 

I THINK that you have 30mph plus 10 per cent, and that the ticket has to arrive within 12 days. cant see you getting done for 1 or 2 mph over TBH

 

I'd be pretty sure that you won't get done. If you think you were between 30-32 chances are you'll be doing less than 30 in reality. The lowest anyone i know has been done for is 34 in a 30

 

The odd's of your speedo being accurate are very slim. Likely it will tell you you are going faster than you actually are.

Either way you are on a provision and driving above speed limit? Why break the trend of every dickhead learner doing 15mph?

 

Copper would have to be some kind on wanker (Or as Americans say, WankOr) to do you even at 34 in a 30.
