Default Perspex window help

Can any one tell me wot tipe of perspex is use on car windows as im not going to pay £350 for a set of window for my focos when i only wont the rears so im hopping to make my owne rear windons but the fing is theres a lot of diforent types . Im been looking at using Acrylic Perspex sheet plastic 4mm thick

You could use... lexan excel, 4mm(min. to pass msa).

Have a spy through this site......

Lexan is good stuff, it'll get scratched though.

I do no that most plastics will scratch but if you no of a brand that is better at not scratching please let me no so i dont wast £££ on uver stuff when theres better stuff out there . thanks for your help

perspex is the cheapest & most easily marked then there is polycarbonate which is a bit more scratch resistant ,then you got lexan which is the most scratch resistant .

you can get it with a coating on to stop it scratching...margard i think it is. its worth it as they scratch to fuck .

ive got lexan on the 5.
when they got scratched i just used a mild cutting compound (watered down g10)and polish and it brought them up like new.

by polishing them it also stops the inside steaming up and water bead off the outside

When building my car I got the rear quarters and screen from plastics4performance. Then couldn't warrant spending 200 quid for the fronts so I got a couple of sheets of lexan off of eBay. It does scratch a bit easier than the coated stuff but as said just polish it out
