When the engines been running for 5-10 mins, it starts to make a whistling/whining noise. And have noticed the turbo is not kicking in as much as previous, struggling to reach 1/4 Mark. Any ideas on what could be the problem would be great!!

 

Does it go quiet if you pull out the oil dipstick?

Sounds like the oil diaphram has given up the ghost. Been a few on here now that has suffered this.

The noise will probably come from the front o/s wheel arch area if it is.

Cheers for that, sound completely goes when the dipstick is out, now I know what needs fixing, just got to fix it now!!!
