deffo feb 2007 but its not the cover car, on the cover is a daddy thrash.

 

Might be mixed up with Rob from SCCs old FRS that was on the cover years ago and as you know built the 1st generation of your old car which set the top speed record

 

Not sure I have my mags going back quite that far gents, but I'll have a look and if I have, I'll be in touch.

Not for me. Have a mate that is building his RS so suggested he should have a read about Belly's. He has a CGI block which I told him will be useless for a 330/60bhp GT28 build.

 

Mine ran more than that on standard block.

 

Exactly my point. I want him to read up on Bellys old car as its probably the perfect spec for what he wants.

 

He'd probably be better off browsing the rsoc bb in the frs room as there's loads of info on there or asking someone like ian howell of area 6.....don't know why you're suggesting a cgi block is useless for a gt28 build though lol so probably best if you don't give him any more advice

You know what i mean...its just not needed.

 

The only advantage of having a CGI with 360bhp I can see is that it'll be stronger while kicking the shit out of it. He's got 2 of these blocks and he's eager to use one. I'm gonna buy the other one off him when I get the cash.

 

That car was epic when Belly had it. Shame the lad that got it killed the original motor

one thing came out of it though it had a scc spec fully forged steel engine built at a cost of £4k
