Default miles in a rs

im off to buxton next weekend dont want to take my wifes car so the s2 going on a road trip never done over 30 miles in her its a 530 mile round trip do any of you do long miles in your rs

it will do the car good doing a nice trip like that, as long as you dont cane it, fill the tank up and put some injector cleaner in, two jobs in one

only going to do 70-80 never put no more then £30 notes in the tank is it arount 50 to fill up

when we went down to fordfair this year 2 of my mates took there s2's and another took his fiesta rs turbo and never had one bit of bother with them and was about 1000 mile round trip. i was well impressed with them

i took my freshly built 32mile only xr2 to ford fair this year, was mapping on the way down, no problems apart from heat wrap falling due to a shite tie.
i prefer not to do long journeys, but hasn't stopped me going anywhere yet. if it was a standard rst though i'd be a bit more cautious depending on condition.

thats some miles shes never let me down just done a full service for the winter iv never put any oil or water in her she runs spot on

done 600mile round trip in mine 2 times . crusing at 70 though didnt kane it at all untill i was back in birmingham soon as me come off the motorway it got death all way home . mine does 40miles everyday to work and back etc sometimes kane it
