Default E30 325i sport

Hi peeps iv recently bought a E30 which im doing a bit of project on its a tech 2 in lach silver but im fitting a turbo kit with a t3 blower have been told to use a good heavy duty gasket set and the stud kit now iv been told by another fellow entusiast that @22psi it should make about 380bhp and the torque going to be mental and his already done it himself but running it at low boost and making a sensible 275bhp and has tracked it for 2 years now my question is can it be done?

Of course the conversion can be done, anything can be done with enough technical know-how and money. However, I really doubt the T3 will reach the 380bhp target.

the turbo is a t3 stage 1 I think ttechnics but anyways im going to run it on low boost for now until I can handle the thing might put the pics up when its done but you guys recon the std engine will take the turbo conversion as in the past the e30 keeps blowing headgaskets as no ones business?

as said go on e30zone and all the answers will be on there for you

the 325i has been turbo charged many times will very good results

if you do a build properly 800/900 bhp can be had with huge torque

Surely a T3 would be waaaaaaay too small for a 2.5 ltr 6 pot???

I would have though a T4 sized turbo would be needed!
