I have seen a set of chairs i like for my dining room table... The items (chairs) are sold in pairs and i require 6 in total... A pair is going to cost £150.

I've just discovered that there is an offer on at the minute.. if you purchase 2 chairs (sold as a pair) you can get the next set (2 chairs) for half price! so 2 sets/4 chairs for £215

The problem is that as i require 6 and the offer only give discount for one set if i put 3 sets in the basket...

Here's the question...

If i buy 8 chairs (4 sets) it gives discount for 2 sets along as i pay full price for the other 2... (£430 for 8 chairs in total)

If i assembled 6 (3sets) and returned 2 (1set) still in the packaging for a refund how much would i get refunded?

Wierd one i know, but just weighing up options.

they will probably refund only the difference of what they should have cost you:

you buy 1 pair, at £150 and pay £75 for the 2nd pair,

they shoudl charge you 225 for each pair and if refunding 1 of the pairs you would get refunded the £75 and pay full price for the 1st half of the discounted pair of the 2nd set you purchase.

You cant get a full price refund on a bulk price deal purchase
