Default Cosworth clutch help

Can I use a AP organic clutch plate with my standard cover and will it cope ok with 370bhp... cheers Mat

I would advise a 6 paddle on that cover for that power as i'm not sure how good organic are

Ive been told it will manage 400 but need to know if it will lol.

will last long time and cope with the 400 easy !
just keep a spare clutch cable !

I had an ap organic clutch in my stage 3 4x4 saff and it wasn't up to hard launching and didn't last long. Upgraded to a 6 paddle with standard cover and it was spot on.

whatever you do, dont go on a uprated cover plate unless you go hydraulic clutch as its heavy as hell and you will do clutch cables once a year or so.

Also a heavy duty cover will likely kill your clutch quadrant if its old. New ones seem ok though.
