Default 59 plate Focus brake light bulb???

One of my work mates has a blown bulb so I offered to sort it and popped it out to discover the bulb itself is red rather than the lamp unit having a coloured filter. Off I headed to my local parts place only to be told it would be £12 for a new one. Obviously I considered this a bit steep and headed to the other parts place who could only give me an orange one and were adament the bulb was not standard and somebody must have changed it.

Anybody know where I can get one that won't try and pull my pants down?

To be honest I'm scared to

Nice to see Halfrauds competitive though as they only wanted £8.49 for it

Yeah that does seem to be about the size of it. Can't believe how steep they are for a painted bulb!

Go Halfords and get a tin of red light tint and spray a normal clear bulb. . .
