hi im thinking of swoping the engine in my escort 1.8 gti with a 2.0 modeo sivertop lump and then adding a turbo has any one done this or no what is needed (i,e will i need to change the gearbox as well for swop and or turbo)

 

gearbox should be fine zetec turbos are comon now but there costly. whats up with your original engine?

 

turbo is never gonna happen unless you have a spare couple of grand to play with, 3x what the average GTI is worth
