Default injector's resistance and impedance

Can anyone help me with these please,
I currently use Haltech PS500 aftermarket ECU and i just find out that it will only works with a high impedance fuel injectors only ( ie. above 8 ohms ).
However, my aftermarket high flow injectors that i am going to use is a BOSCH 803 green injectors ( part no : 0280150803 ), which has a resistance of 4,6 ohm ( low impedance ??).
Can anyone give me solutions so that I can use the low impedance injectors in the PS500 ? Or is it just safe enough to use the 803s on the PS500 ?
Some people told me to use an injector ballast resistor...but how many ohms is needed for the resistor ?
Thank You.

hello,

i think you should ask on the haltech board:
http://www.haltech.com/index.php/support/forum

the easiest way w´d be to change the injectors. i use the 55lbs high impedance siemens injectors with a ps1000.

regards,
philipp

You have 3 options really.

1) Add a resistor to your injectors - Nasty, will slow their opening times down
2) Add an external peak and hold box, which is high impedance input and low output
3) Use high impedance injectors

I would go for the last one personally.

A 4th option might be to modify the ecu, but I dont know if that is something haltech support or not on that model.
