I have bought some stuff for my mate for his escort cossie, including some pulleys, throttle body and an alloy alternator bracket. Initially he told me that in 6 weeks the job will be done, but after 8 weeks I had received nothing and dropped him an e-mail which in his reply asked me to wait some more time as he had a vacation. Now after all this time ( Payment was sent 5th MAY 2011) He send me another e-mail telling me that he had problems with the parts and asked if I wanted a refund. I accepted to be refunded but I received no money in my account. I am thinking that this was a big rip off from some one who is very well known over here. He stole 550 GBP which that time were 627 euros. it is very disappointing to have waited all this time for the parts now he says he can't deliver. I can't understand..... especially that I gave him a call and he told me that he will send the parts next week...this was just before a show in Donnigton last month.........

Now what should I do?

Refund has ben sent and looks to me that he'll be getting free parts too.

No other trader I have ever seen accused of bad service has ever replied to a thread the way I have just seen MK do.

Fair play to MK for responding the way he has to the piss pore service he provided.

Unbiast opinion also as I've never dealt with MK but just thought I'd voice.

just an explanation not an excuse ,these parts were custom parts that i priced at £550 and materials cost me £400 which are still sat here ,but i thought that if i did them at cost i would have programs and jigs to be able to ad them to my range ,but with one thing an another time slipped away and up an till just lately
the chap from malta was happy to wait for custom parts ,then i offered a refund which he accepted but because of the time scale i couldnt find his paypal details ,i asked for them and he sent me a paypal request last thurs and i had forgot to do it ,my intention was never to rip him off ,i have now refunded and if he sends me his address like i pm him to do i will send him some free parts

i hope this explains but not excuses what i have done

Well from this thread I would use mk Motorsport. Everybody makes mistakes that shouldn't happen it's how they deal with the mistakes that matters.
