Default Corsa C 1.0 12v service help

Anyone ever owned/messed with one of these?

Friend of mine has asked me to give him a hand servicing it, as he's not too into that kind of things. Was just wondering if any special tools are required for changing the oil filter cartridge? Or perhaps if the sump plug has an odd fitting or something.

Never even seen under the bonnet of one, so don't want to try and start and then realise you need a funky spanner to get at the oil filter or something!

sump plug is a 45 torx bit and you can use i think its a 32mm socket for the oil filter cap may be a bit bigger

Righto.

I have torx bits, that's no bother. Will make him get a socket to do the filter housing

Once its fixed. You can go out and MURDER Bugatti Veyrons off the lights.

As the Corsa is lighter innit bruv. Therefore its faster. Its simple physics

I don't know about Veyrons, but we did beat a Daewoo Kalos off the lights earlier

Try not to laugh when you lift the bonnet.
