First of all welcome!

1.No an estate bumper won't fit
2.Not sure whether they have to be extended or fit straight on
3.IMO it would be easier sourcing doors with all this alreadly attached (im lazy though )

get some pics up

Shit the bed...

I was looking at fitting the full cosworth kit to my van including the cossie arch pannels front & rear but using a wrc style front bumper as 99% of escort vans that get modded have cossie front bumpers
but looking at the prices on fibreskanks website i think il just go down the rs2k route & cut & shut a rear bumper off a estate or Orion or sierra etc
im sure ya used to be able to get full kits for these vans for around Ł350 all in

how times change eh !!!

I have an escort van which I'm doing a fair amount of work on.
I went a different route as I'm not adding to it. I bought an escort estate and swapped every thing over.
I'm fitting, rs skirts, estate rear bumper with spats, side exhaust, electric windows, central locking, air con, mk6 rs interior, adjustable steering column, mk6 bumper with fogs and a integra type r bib. rs2k brakes, 16 mondy alloys. This is a work van.
Rs/gti side skirts are between 2-3 inches too short.
Rear bumper, escort estate rear bumper, going to be cut in half lengthened then more fettling so I can open the rear doors.
Electric windows, central locking, just get the doors mate. wiring for them though. Thats the fun bit!
I'm still trying to work out how to fit a front mounted intercooler as there is no space!

I've still got lots of welding to do. She was a beat up grey van dented and well I bought it for scrap so it has been abused. Just want a nice van to bomb around in. Something thats good on fuel. Its black now, just taking my time with it. I'll take some pics and get them up.

Bottom line with a escort van bodykit is you have 2 options;
1 - spent a load of money on a bodykit
2 - Make it all your self or make it fit with some fettling lol

I have a escort van and I have tdi'd it used a full loom out of a tdi aswel l, I fitted the doors up with the motors for the elec Windows central locking and elec mirrors not hard really. I have Rs accessories side skirts that are made for the van and I have a cosworth style bumper for the rear. In total I have spent 180 on the bumper and skirts so not too expensive and these are new too.
