I had one a few years back as a runabout while my car was in hospital, it was a horrible dark purple colour and at the time I was told less than a 1000 were made

 

Hope your gonna be happy with her would of kept her but to many projects mondeos on the go at the mo, this is how many are left, as you can see its worth hanging onto and yes zetec turbo it (then can i have it back lol)

i've thought about bulding an st220 4x4 using x type jag v6 4x4 set up, should bolt straight in, think it would be quite a tool, never got round to it though

 

500 made. 300 sent to the Netherlands and the like. leaving 200 in the uk. so im told.

 

How come there wasn't many made? Did they use up all the old sierra floorpans? Seems a bit strange for them to design and build a 4x4 running gear for a handful of cars...
