Anyone know what kind of power from a n/a zvh conversion on my mfi xr3i? Is it worth it.

 

And can I use same cam?

 

deffo worth it, same cam is fine,
use the best head you can, no point chucking in a rattler

 

altho a full zetec will be good too but i guess you want to keep it kjet for simplicity and as its rare to see kjet these days i think its good to keep

I had a ZVH engine in my MK4 XR3i. Was on 2.0 bottom end with RS1600i ported head incl mechanical tappets (instead of the normal ones found in all other CVH engines), standard cam, RS1600i inlet + exhaust manifold. Was about 150 BHP, maybe a bit more. But the throque was most impressive
