Remote locks on a Sierra?
How hard would it be to use the remote locking system from a Mondeo or Focus in a Sierra?
From memory, I don't think the Sierra central locking is on a sub-loom, and I'm willing to bet Ford used different plugs/connectors anyway...

Too hard, the focus, Mondeo uses one master where as the sierra uses 2
The mk4 fiestas used the same set up though so that may be easier to get hold of but to be honest, if you can find a remote locking trigger it's only 2 wires to hook it up, and even i could do that

I don't actually have an aftermarket alarm, just the one that came from the factory - and I'm not sure it even works!.
I'd prefer not to have a remote fob on the keyring (silly, I know!) so would like to use a standard Ford remote key.
If the key could be programmed to an alarm I don't mind going down that route, but thought a Ford remote control spliced into the lock circuits might be easier/cheaper/neater/quicker.
