Default Winter tyres

I use my s2 all year round, after last winter's snow I'm going to fit some winter tyres, can anyone recommend some around £50-60 each?

Cheers, neil

Pretty sure a decent quality tyre like a michelin/continental would suit for all year round pal.

Think you guys are missing the point. OP wants a winter tire. Any winter tire is massively better in the snow/ice than an all season tire so take your pick.

what size are you after?

most seem to be pretty expensive because they don't sell many over here.

there is some on ebay in that size for £50 a tyre.

i have a set of snow chains that are fucking awesome in the snow and going to get a spare set of steelies to fit them to as fitting them in the snow was a pain in the ass, so will just have the wheels in the boot if it snows.

also been looking at snow socks as they are easier to fit, but you cant drive on tarmac as it will wreck them pretty quick

blackcircles isn't working at the moment but worth trying them pluss theres hundreds more aswell as you local independant place that may give you a deal on a set of 4. shop around and you'll find something

Thought about it mat but buy the time I've paid insurance and storage on rs it won't be worth it for the two days I use the car, going to look at getting a bigger work van with three seats in next year so it won't be a problem then
