Have you seen John's car? I don't think anything that looks kinda bodge will work with his OCD

Not so much OCD, i just want a fan switch that i can set a bit higher than thermo stat 82 degrees opening temp.

the fan switch shouldnt operate at 82 anyway!!

MSD do different fan switches as do other places. the MSD switches on 91 and off at 87.

I've not tried the msd switch only the ford item,i have a 82 thermo stat and my new ford switch comes on at 86 and goes off at 78, bloody crap... I have purchase the revotec item today will fit tomorrow night.

It's not to bad, don't forget you get the fan switch and a fan loom with a good grade of wire. I paid £46 inc delivery. The kit came today very nice ,if you had to buy a fan switch and a up rated loom it would end up costing you more ! Not a over the top solution is it. i now have full adjustment of the fan's.
