Default S Max Titanium Sport X 240PS

Been looking for a wagon fo the wife and kids. The only decent motor currently on the market that takes 3 kids seats across rear seat seem to be a S Max. I've looked at Q7's, ML's, X5's, Range Rover's and none have decent room in the back to tke 3 kiddies seats. VW's Sharan interior is very plain and quite boring.

Have anyone here driven or owned the 240PS variant? Also, does anyone know the remapped power output?

Had a new galaxy for 2 weeks earlier this year, was very good i thought 2.0l tdci. plenty of space inside for 2 kids and 4 adults

i have driven one of superchips customers chipped smax, it went well for its size but drank fuel. they are a big heavy car so wont do very good mpg if your worried about that?

Out of all the cars mentioned so far the s-max is the only one i'd want. Smart, stylish, reliable not drivne the 240 myself but it's meant to be very quick.

I'd go for the 2.0 or 2.2 diesel myself however.

driven the 2.0 ecoboost , 2.0 D, and currently sat on the drive a 2.2 D ( with less than 300 miles on it ) Both were Autos, neither were mine ( borrowed from my Dad )

Not too sure what the fuel usage is like, as allways caine them, still better than my navara tho

Both drove and handled well, petrol was quicker, but the 2.2 diesels still got some poke, not much in normal day to day driving, wouldn't bother with the 2.0D , think the mpg was worse than the 2.2

Current ones white, and it suits it well
