Default how to remove a SECS monitor

in the process of selling my saph cosworth, but to make it cheaper, i'm removing some parts and returning it back to standard.

one of these parts is a SECS monitor.

My question is how do i remove it, its a 4x4 saph?

cheers Matthew

It just piggy backs on the the ECU connector connections, so you will need to undo the screw and dismantle the connector and de solder the connections.

NO i used my samllest wire snippers so it shortened the monitor loom by about 3mm! if that and left tiny bolbs of solder on each ecu pin which it was connected to so all in all made fook all difference your point being? as i take it you was trying to be funny?

that sounds like slightly better advice to give than just 'chop them off' doesn't it? that's my point.
