Ford Focus MK1 Steering Issue
I asked about this problem in another post, but i don't think i made it quite clear so hopefully i can delete that one and try again with this one.
Basically when the wheels are straight, and the car is stationary, with the engine running, the wheel turns left to right with no issues.
When you start moving, at any speed if you try and turn the wheel from the central position, to the right, it feels really heavy, then it feels like somethings going ' pop ' and it notches/jerks/jumps to the right? Doesnt seem to do it going to the left, its more so to the right?
The car has just passed its MOT 2 weeks ago so i know its nothing bush related as i use a very good garage and if any bushes or joints were worn it would have failed or at least id have got an advisory which i havent.
I have been told it may need new power steering fluid, a new rack, or the bottom of the steering column inside the car greasing?
Any help would be great as it is quite un nerving when going to turn a slight bend and the wheel jumps about !
Thanks
