Default Carbon Fibre questions

Hi Guys,

Has anyone made their own carbon fibre parts at home?

Is it possible to achieve a 'good' finish with DIY carbon?

Iv seen all the DIY kits for sale but just wondered if this is really possible. I always assumed expensive ovens and equipment is needed?

However i'v seen some good work that seems to be homemade.

Can anyone shed some light on this topic?

Many thanks
Guile

definitely possible with wetlay for reasonable outlay and lots of practice. Resin infusion is easier to get right but bigger outlay.
