Default 2009 Fiesta Cosworth...

...I think this looks fantastic.

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/3229681.htm

Although I could probably think of other things to spunk £55,000 on instead.

Cheers,
Grant

wouldnt spend that money on it tho.

only thing i dont like is the seats.
needs some proper rally seats with helmet wings and in cloth, like corbra evolutions

I don't get it, nor do I get Focus Cosworth conversions - I think they show a total lack of understanding. The Cosworth is iconic in its own right as a near classic car, but why start with a modern Ford, chop out 20 years of development, and replace it with with a 1980's designed floor pan and agircultural/flawed suspension?

Crazy.

A proper cossie conversion uses only the engine and transmission, not the floorpan etc. So you don't need to sacrifice a cossie shell, just work with what you have to get a great handling car that way but using a very tunable engine.

Must have missed tonnes off the spec if it cost 85-90K to build?

£55K......Thats a choice of this or a 997 Turbo. Let me see.........

£55k is dreaming IMO. Nice car, but it'll sit for a long time unless the price is dropped substantially. It's not so much what it cost to build, but how much somebody would be prepared to pay. I'd suggest it's 30k over what it's worth.

Price is too high considering it doesn't have any history of performance like the SCS Esc cos.

What's everyone's valuation of it then? About 20k?

Also what would you rather spend your 55k on?

Awsome car, but not a realistic price. Harvey's Escort sold for more than that, but was worth every penny looking at the spec.
