Morning all need abit of advice Ive seen some bbs alloys on wheel whores website ive been speaking to the guy arranged a price inc delivery from ireland to leeds, now i was going to transfer the money this morning into his account but ive seen hes listed them yesterday on the wheels in europe section differant pictures and differant price so im abit paranoid now am i right to be oh am i being stupid, also he say postage is 30quid from ireland to leeds uk for 4 x 18in with tyres

 

If it's a different picture, and a different price are they the same wheels?

Has the guy made a lot of posts on there, is he an active member? If not I wouldn't part with cash without more assurance.

 

Hes a new member and look the same wheels, if i pay through paypal will that be ok if i need to claim money back?

 

ideally pay through paypal as you have the reassurance that if things do go pete tong you get your money back just say to the geeza you'd rather pay that way and cover the charges

 

ive never used paypal my brothers got an account he said hele pay for me, so do they charge paypal? also what if he gives a dodgy paypal account oh is that impossible im on paranoia mission

get the seller to invoice you with paypal just give him your brother user name that way you should be covered but stil can be dodgy

 

if you don't mind parting with the money for abit while its sorted if it does go arse over tit then do it as it can tke upto a month for the money to be sent back to you

are they new or second hand??

if they are new, then i would go through a legitimate BBS dealer to save any what if's

if they are second hand then if you paypal you have assurnace but he may raise the price, you are taking a real risk transferring via bank to an unknown person, i would only do this if he was known on the board and he has a good rep.

 

My opinion too. If you've any doubts, back out.

you could ask on here if there is a member of passionford(with a good rep) near him that could go take a look at them for you,make sure its legit.
