Carrying on from another thread, is it possible to fit coil on plug and run them in a wasted spark format?
Would it just be a case of creating a loom from the current coil pack to the individual coil on plugs?
This would just be to tidy up the engine bay and to get rid of the HT leads not for any performance reasons.

Yes Simon has already developed it ages ago and I believe Stu is looking to roll it out. If I had money to spend to improve my ignition I'd go CDI though!

If you want to purely improve looks and you're coilpack already, hide the coilpack and get a carbon top to go over the plug leads on the rocker cover!

 

I thought Simon had developed sequential firing for coil on plug (which some people said wasn't possible with a weber L series ecu)
Is that what Stu is rolling out or is it just wasted spark on coil on plug i.e. firing in pairs?

I can't hide my coilpack as i've removed the back panel that goes infront of the heater fan.

I'm not sure if it's wasted spark or sequential, you'd have to ask him. I seem to remember something about a mod to the WS board.

Can you not put it under the battery or something?
