Default Sierra cosworth 'sharktooth' alloys and 300mm brakes...

Hi all, Does anyone know if the 300mm brake set up from a mondeo will fit under sharktooth alloys, either straight away or with some careful grinding of the caliper? As I am running sharktooths on my fiesta, and will need some better brakes soon.
Thanks, Sam.

285mm is the biggest you will get under there as far as I know as they are tight then. 300mm may be possible, but they would need to be some seriously slim calipers.

I think I have seen it done here somewhere, 300 mm under shark tooths with Mondeo mk3 calipers. Was very close though...

you can use mk3 modeo calipers and st170 300mm discs but you will have to grind the caliper down for them to fit

I dont have shark tooth alloys but I have standard ones with st170 calipers and 300mm brakes and I had to grind alot of so it's the same principle..Link to my thread with pics..

I have a set fitted on my orion, but they required a hell of a lot of grinding to fit and even now it's a fag paper width. Too tight really wants 280mm.
