Chip banned? Wtf?

Chip banned? Wtf?
So is this the full story?
Chip asked a valid question, eagle got wrong end of stick and bitched at chip.
Half a dozen people pointed out there was no need for it.
Chip told him to wind his neck in.
Eagle infracted chip.
In post 79 on the pistons thread eagle then said chip didn't get points for telling him to wind his neck in.
Chip asked why he did get them then.
Eagle refused to answer and said he was 'playing chip'
Chip started a thread commenting that eagle was being a prick (which he'd already pretty much said himself by saying he was deliberately 'playing' a member) and asking for an explanation.
Eagle Replied to that saying it was for telling him to wind his neck in he got infracted. Despite eagle saying earlier it wasn't.
Chip is now banned.
Surely that can't possibly be the whole story as that whole affair was just entirely brought on by eagle, if someone is so blatantly misusing mod powers and even admitting themselves they are doing so then surely you should be able to start a post in the moderation room questioning it without getting banned?
Especially given chip didnt say eagle is a prick, just that he was acting like one, chip even said in mo's thread that he thought eagle
Perfect pleasant in real life so it's not like he was out to get the guy, just was rightly pissed off at such lousy moderation?
Or is there more to this than just those two threads?
As if it is just that it seems a bit pathetic to me.
How long is he banned for?
Hope not long as he has really really helped me out in the past both on here and in real life, would be a real loss to the forum if it is for long.

tbh allthough i didnt really like a lot of chips posts as he had a tendancy to try and belittle people on here, i dont think he should have been banned for what he has said, i have seen that mo fella say a lot worse to other people on here and he aint been banned

... No reason for it to be moved, and for the record I think the infraction was a very very petty action against chip, someone has obviously been looking for any tiny reason to get into him.

totally agree with you on this one, i honestly think it was all blown out of proportion and started by eagle over moderating and we all know what chip is like, people on here get abused far worse on a daily basis without the abuser getting banned, or is when your a mod you become more sensitive and take things to heart more, or what i think and is purely my opinion is that someone just got a lil power crazy and handed out a ban for bein called a prick, which has made him look like what he has been called, and before im banned im not callin you a prick eagle just saying you have made yourself look like one
