Default fitting cos 4x4 turbo.....

How do u fit a cossie 4x4 turbo to the manifold of a escort rst as you can get 3 of the nuts on but the one near the metal water pipe will not go on as there is no space as it hits the metal water pipe.had to grind a little of side of manifold to get water pipe on so its a bit tight.will it be ok to just use 3 of nuts holding it on i no its not best to but dont no what else to do

Put it on gradually - tighten each bolt a little at a time. It's a hard enough job with the manifold and turbo in the workshop, but it does fit. I cant imagine the problem with the water pipe, aren't you using the Escort feed and returns? Cos this turbo is also a T3 just with a bigger compression wheel, just build the Escort stuff onto it.
