It was when it first came out, Stayed cool for a while. not so cool when the Mk2 came out,Redeamed its self on the Mk3 2.8 Brooklands and Tickfords which are quite rare and very cool these days so "yes" its a cool car in my book

i think there not that cool but im 27 so i didnt grow up with them. I see so many old weirdos driving them around. They prob brought it from new and kept it all there lives. But as someone says even though there not cool they will make good money for a good one

my dads first car was a mark 1 capri he always talks about it was whitle with a black vinyl roof reg EOI 180
i think he would like aother one now but he says it would be a let down with no power. keep telling him he needs one with a yb in it lol

Very cool. MK1's worth a lot now and very nice.
MK2 was poorly-received at the time, but still look good to me.
MK3 Capri has been a bargain classic Ford for a long time, but now seem to be increasing in price fairly rapidly for good ones.

Very cool now and always have been too me as iv grown up with them.they have seem to left the bad image they gad years ago behind them now, used to have loads of grief off people when driving mine but everyone stops, chats and takes pictures now.

No they were just plain awefull, well the 2.8i was. Strange how cars that didnt really cut it in their day become cult cars. Big Nicks YB engined Capri on here is one of my all time favourite cars & how it should have been back then.

My old man has had hundreds, think my fav was a red X pack mk3 3.0 S and he also built a gorgeous mk1 which had elements of an RS3100, will try and get some pics!
