Anyone know much about corsa vxr's or knows anyone who does, just brought one but seeming to having a few problems with it

Yehh they melt pistons Nothing too serious!

 

I know enough not to buy one.

 

i used to have one had it a year and in that year it had 27 warranty claims including piston 4

Its seemed to have had a forged engine and staight through pipe decat etc etc by the previous owner... When you drive it the car seems to splutter as soon as you get boost, i was told it was the air mass sensor i replaced it still no luck, diagnostic showing nothing. When u unplug the air mass the car drives fine would it be worth while changing the boost pressure sesnor

 

maybe coilpack as i knw that give up the ghost on mine when i had it similar problem as u soon as i booted it the car would missfire and splutter i fitted a new coilpack and spark plugs and all seemed ok if i was you though i would take it to a tuner thorney or regal as they will properly diagnose the problem saves u keep spending money buying bits guessing what it could be or join up on vxronline lots or helpful people on there good luck sorting it mate
