Am looking for another for Clare to replace her ST200. The choices are between

1) ST220
2) Focus ST-3 , Five door


Which would you guys go for? Dont need a huge boot as got the beemer estate for that but does need five doors and fun to drive. Are there any other option with around 10k to spend??

 

I'd go ST3 all day, and save the change.........which you should get from 10k.

 

An ST-3 will fit the bill perfectly. I've had both an ST and an ST220 - the Focus is more fun to drive and will have lower running costs of the course of it's time with you.

 

I've jus bought an st-3 and there a hoot!

Tricky one that. Focus is probably a bit more fun, and does have a great sound track. Something I really like about the ST220 though. I think if it was an every day sort of car, I'd probably be very tempted by the Mondeo to be honest.

I'm sure most would disagree, but I've always liked it.
