For the fourth year now Ford will open up their banked circuit at the Dunton Technical Centre in Essex for a Ride in a Supercar Charity Trackday for the benefit of Littlehavens Childrens Hospice

Entry into the show is £5 per adult and £3 for a child and then a two lap passenger ride around the track is £20

Not sure about paying on the day at the gate, i'll find out about that

Hard to say exactly what cars will turn up and be available for the rides but a good mix of Ferrari's and Lamborghini's is usually pretty much guaranteed as well as things like Nobles Atom's Dodge Vipers and TVR's................. should also be a 500bhp Escort Cosworth and on the reserve list are two Focus RS 2's with one of them being an RS500

As well as the rides there will also be the usual show stuff like static car displays a live band stage, kids stuff and food etc

I know this clashes with National Day but i guess not everyone will be going to that.

 

having just attended fords 100 year celebrations there I have to say how pleased I was with the venue ,only downside for this event is its the same day as RS National day at donnington park and classics on the green in watford or a lot more folk would have attended for sure

 

It's just one of those unfortunate things that at this time of year events will clash Nevertheless this has always managed to be a busy event the last 3 years.........

A McLaren MP4-12C has just confirmed as attending to give passenger rides

Event went exceptionally well, really warm sunny day with just one brief shower so we were pretty lucky
