Default Focus ST170 Cam Timing

can i replace the inlet pulley with a standard zetec pulley and time i up properly and not lose much power?

You will have to delete the VVT first and then run aftermarket managment, you would lose drivability on standard cam but it would allow for a better choice of aftermarket inlet cams in the future as timing up aftermarket cams with the VVT fitted is tricky to say the least.
