anyone got any ideas why is would just drop off, seems asif it doesnt want to rev and then will all of a sudden be fine, then go off again.

Is it standard or modified? Had a look about and it suggests it's running lean. Could be a leak on the intake side?

 

It is modified, Yeah thanks what it said when i had a quick search but i thought id ask. I havent had a look yet its my dads car so ill have a look tomorow, and other ideas what it could be?

boost control solenoids are common aswell,or try cleaning out the maf sensor

 

I'm getting the same problem, at first it was boosting to 3/4 up the gauge. Now its struggling to get past a 1/4. I'm gonna change the solenoid but before I do should I try cleaning the maf sensor if so how do you clean them. Sorry a bit of a noob at the moment.
