Whats the best way to get your camcover colour coded,I had mine sprayed but after 6 mnths or so it starts to peel,if it is powder coated how do you then get the shiny bits (where the COSWORTH writing is) back to being shiny?
I would like a way that it would stay really shiny in mallard green but not wear off with the constant heat after 6 months.
Either that or does anyone know how much standard blue Escort Cos ones are and where they can be bought new????

you mask off the cam cover apart from the strips and then get a block and wet and dry paper out.

start coarse then work your way down to fine

 

incidentally, i have a cam cover refurbed in SAMCO blue, its mint and has not been put on a car since it was fully prepped, sprayed and polished

 

matcos i have 2 for sale,one is powder coated black, the other is painted black with the cosworth strips shiny 70 quid each pm me if you want one.
