people are dreaming again to get autronic sm4 fitted and mapped it would cost 3k so brand new with loom and sensors is easily worth £1500ono....

that manifold would have been well over a grand to make so worth abit more than quoted too

Think your dreaming aswell mate as £1500 would buy this new with a guarantee like if it blew your engine up you would have a come back from the tuner. stuff dont sell for big money at mo so need to be more realistic and previous have sold for about 850ish

Manifold prob again 400 as is second hand and what if it splits?

Bottom end Prob £1500 to £2000 with a would have thought if ya want to sell it, but again all this stuff will not be guaranteed like if built from tuner. like i said depends if ya want to sell or bumping this tread for the next month then lowering the prices

depends how much you need the money

Guess who's dreaming?

The crank cost just under two grand, linered block £1800, rods & pistons £1500, machine work (with oil jets) and ten long studs £800. You might buy a second hand 4x4 engine for £1500, and that may well be tired....

proper engines like these scs and mad ones are worth good dosh, the problem with lots of arse holes on these sites is, they dont no one end of a piston to the other, they jump on the band wagon talkin ref prices of parts and they dont have a clue, let them buy these parts new and let them pay proper engine builders to build these engines , then they will no the price.

that mad 700hp engine with 2k miles ect with ecu is easy worth 10k +

good luck with the sale john dont listen to the nob ends

thanks steven

the difference is sm4 for an evo just needs the loom and ecu where as mine is running its own boost controll built in with twin wasted spark coil packs and braided loom and it was over 3k ..... i think the bloke who sold sm4 for a cossie for £850 is abit of a pratt...

and 2k for a complete 10 long studded 200block engine 2k are you fucking mad.

harvey gibbs charges 2k just to do the liners and studs let alone the 2k crank, that bottom end must have cost in excess of 8k to do properley so easierly 4-5k people who dont now what they are on about should be quiet.....
