E46 M3 (Updated price and info down the bottom)
Righto I'm putting this up for no other reason than I'm an idiot
I have seen something else that is on my 'must have before I die' car list and I will scratch that itch if I sell this car.
I bought the car last October from Stoo who uses this forum. Since then it has been quite simply the best car I have owned. It is classy, comfortable, quick and reasonably economical. It has never let me down in any way shape or form!
I work abroad and do very little mileage. In 9 1/2 months I have done 2.5k miles. I bought this car at 67,200 miles.
Here is the spec...
51 registered car
69,700 miles,
FSH,
HPI clear,
Steel Grey,
6 speed Manual,
Black Nappa leather interior with brushed anthracite trim.
Taxed until 30/09/11
MOT'd until 05/10/2011
19" unmarked alloys with two brand new rear tyres(2.5k miles ago when I bought the car), fronts have about 5 mm tread till they're on the marker. Unforrtunately the lacquer is beginnging to peel in certain parts but the alloys are totally unmarked, scratched or kerbed.
TV / SatNav
Electric rear blind
Heated Electric memory seats
Harman Kardon stereo upgrade
Electric Sunroof
LED rear lights
Tyre pressure sensors
Leather armrest
6 disc changer
Cup holders and coin holder
Auto Xenon headlights and wipers
Cruise control
Climate contol + Air conditioning
Heated rear window
Muti-function leather steering wheel
Auto dimming rear view mirror
Electric front and rear windows
Central locking alarm
Grad tint windscreen
Tracker
All keys present.
The car isn't due a service for another 9k miles, and it'll be an Oil service. The last service it had was an Inspection 1.
Service book is as follows:
2/12/02 - Running in service - 1274 miles (BMW)
10/12/03 - Oil service - 18,477 miles (BMW)
25/8/04 - Inspection 1 - 26,895 miles (BMW)
30/1/06 - Oil service - 38,564 miles (BMW)
4/8/07 - Inspection 2 + Microfilter - 51,621 miles (BMW)
1/11/08 - Oil service - 58,607 miles (BMW Specialist)
5/12/09 - Inspection 1 - 64,353 miles (BMW Specialist)
Brake fluid was changed on the 5/12/09
All in this is a superb M3. I recently had the car machine polished and the operator thought it was in better nick than his 2007 335 BMW.
The only faults are:
The drivers door seal has come away in the top of the door shut but it doesnt leak or anything like that.
The front has some stone chipping but wow what car doesnt.
The front arm sensor for the HID light balance has broken so will be replaced.
Anyway here are the pics...

I'll go and see if I can find an interior pic.
edit - here is the only pic I have

The car is £10,300 ono.
chopsworth@hotmail.com or PM me here.
I am out of the country just now but the car can be viewed in Aberdeen/shire any time.

I can vouch for this car like i did when chop bought it good luck with the sale mate just be sure your doing the right thing i cant think of a better car for 10k thats got this spec / power & reliability
I agree on the colour. It has overtaken imola and estoril in my fav colours.
These cars were not cheap new and are great value for money. I really shouldn't sell it but never mind that

Rag top eh?

I'll show my hand if this sells...

Shite! I meant to mention that when I wrote the flipping ad

Carlo knows Stoo and works for BMW. He very kindly showed me the history of the car on the BMW site and gave me some paper work from the system. Cheers buddy
Didn't think you were actually that serious about selling Chop - but if you're not using it then why have it.
I've been in this car a lot and can safely vouch for it. It's in outstanding condition for its age.

Dont you fancy it?
Of course I'm serious. If I have a silly idea then I usually do it!
Thanks
Lovely looking car Chop, suprised at the price tag I was expecting more! Saving to build my first four houses so I aint in no position to buy sadly!
Been fancying an M3 for years!
lol that's a 'private' forum joke about a certain tube that thought they were fwd
Cheers Lee. They are such good value for money it's mental
I'm sure you can probably pick them up cheaper but it doesnt take long to fall into shitter land.
If you do get one one day you wont be disappointed
Cheers mate

Great car this folks, had the pleasure of bringing it home for stoo and it drove perfect.
Same spec and colour of mine and i would never sell mine this cheap, (even in this current market) in my eyes i still cant see a better all round car for the money.
Best of lucks chops

Lovely M3 this folks. I thoroughly enjoyed owning it and was an absolute pleasure to drive. Never cost me a penny apart from fuel, can't beat the old German reliability!
Tough market Chop but the good ones will sell, just got to wade yourself through the sea of bullshitter, time wasting, day dreaming, cum guzzling shit heads that comes with selling a car on the internet.
If folk are quick the car might still have a "Stoo scent" inside. Gotta be worth a few hundred alone!

Righto I'm still considering a sale. Personal circumstances dictate that I dont really need access to a 'sensible' every day car now.
The car has just gone for an MOT and will be available with a 13 month MOT if it's from the 5th Sep onwards. Or if I did it this week I guess it'd be a 12 month ticket.
Either way I'll MOT it if anyone wants it. I have nothing to fear on a BMW MOT
I'll consider a px with an esc cossie or the right saff (yes I'm a clown
)
Hey I missed these replies before whn I let the ad slip
Cheers. You never did send that pic with csl rims on
Cheers Stoo, and LOL@stoo scent

This was brought back to the top after a chat on another thread.
The short story is its looking very likely that I may be emmigrating later this year. I would like to take this with me but I also want my cossie there and I think I can only import 1 car.
The car is now only on about 70,700 miles so has done 1,000 miles since July last year
Basically because I work abroad and have had more time away than home.
Since this advert it had another years MOT put on. It needed the sensor for the levelling headlights, a front cv boot (I think) and a spring(I forget which). Again the MOT garage commented on how immaculate this is as they are beginning to see some right dogs now.
I have also bought a set of csl reps on proper csl offset so they are dished properly etc. I'd prefer to sell the car with both sets of wheels. I wont sell it with only csl wheels as I cant be hooped being left with standard wheels. Oh the bad news is I pretty badly kerbed a csl rim the other day. It'll be touched up as best as I can.
Price with both sets of wheels £8500
Price with Standard rims £8150
This is a bargain price M3 and a standout car in a world of shit ones. It's not perfect but it's v good.
Feel free to make an offer but the sale of this car does not affect my move abroad so I wont be bent over too far(unless you're really good looking
)
I'm out of the country tomorrow for 5 weeks but one of my very close friends will be available to over see the sale should anyone want it.
Chop
EDIT
Heres the only csl rims pic I have as the car has been tucked up in the garage since early November.

PPS I dont think I mentioned it anywhere but I have a set of lowering springs that I'll throw in for free if I get the right price for the car. Worth £100 easy. They are apexi springs IIRC and have never been fitted.

. Best of luck with the sale.
