Default Internet Explorer 9 slowness

Anyone recently downloaded IE9 and found it to be slow? everything internet related seems very slow for me, ages to open sites & pages which previously loaded quick on IE8

i've ensured i've checked for updates etc and all seems updated, my laptop hasnt got any virus etc

tempted to go back to IE8 at this rate

anyone else having the same issues?

Sod that firefox crap I have found i useless!

Have you recently downloaded an update to flash player? That caused my internet to slow right down as there is a bug with it, there's been loads of complaints, happened to me too. Could be worth doing a system restore back to before you did an update.

To each his own, but that Firefox loads the pages a lot faster than Explorer is a fact. It was just a suggestion.

Not yet that I know of. Either uninstall flash player and install an older version, or system restore your machine back to before you started having problems

Update the flash and java together. Also make sure you're using 32 bit IE9 and not 64 bit IE9

IE9 seems to have real problems, especially on webforums, I strongly recomend anyone using forums to use Firefox or Chrome.
