I don't appreciate that crap being sent through my letterbox thanks, and anyone who condones this kind of cheap publicity stunt funded by our tax money is a wanker IMO.

I got one of these through my postbox this morning - as did my mate Neil (off of RS2000-16v.com).

I'd seriously like to know 2 things...

1) What database they got my name and address from as it was addressed to me
2) Which idiot came up with the idea of doing this in the first place.

Neil's already sent an e-mail to the organisation involved to find out some of those answers, I personally can't stand crap like this.

I await a letter to arrive through my post tomorrow telling me about the dangers of drinking bleech!

they use this sort of advertising in every season whether its valentines or christmas, but like kev.H says, if it saves just 1 life then yeah i think its worth it.

but to be honest words and pictures dont sink in until you have been through it i suppose

the main thing that annoys me is that they seem to have targeted individuals so they have used our details against our wishes breaking the data protection act!

as kev has said on other sites, he thinks this is a good campaign and he has his right to his opinion. he said some of his friends were killed in car accidents and im sorry to hear that........yet that is more shocking than reading a card, yet ive read about times on other websites about when you have raced other cars on the road, so even someones death hasnt realy had an impact on you and proves my point that this campaign is a waste of (probably) tax payers money!

to be fair if the ads were realistic i wouldnt mind but remember that ad about speeding a couple of years back at 30mph it would have stopped here at 40 it stops here strasight through a kid. The fooker locks up on a dry road for about 6 mile. Its about time they realised the stopping distance for a mk1 cortina aint the same as a modern car and that they are WAY out of date. Technoligy has progressed so why havent the dvla and there guidlines

 

This ad is sick and vey distastful... I se soo many people leave a pub and jump into a car as they only live "Five minutes down the road"

Losing friends to accidents makes you think, but why do they target young individuals.

This has really Pissssed me of an also the household who recently lost a close family friend!

If it is a Citroen it's no wonder it ended up the wrong way up. No one in their right mind would push their luck in a car developed by those nice French chappies. I mean, engineering is hardly their forte is it. Better stick to wine and cheese and leave cars to the English
