Default Blew hole in the mongoose

Had the S1 out this morning and on the way to work it, suddenly it sounded diffrent from the exhaust, sounded like it was leaking, so thought that one of the clamps had come loose.... :
But when I arived i had a look under the car, and saw a hole in the middle of the pipe just before the rear silencer @ aprox 5cm i diameter
Sorry no pics yet, till i get home tonigth

But have anyone ever seen ore hear of that before...

never heard of that mate. mongoose are normally very good and well made. did it catch on anything at all that may have caused it to puncture like that? either way it's not the end of the world as you should be able to repair it if you know how to weld or can atleast get a competant welder to sort it for you.

regards

Tom

got an reply today:

We have had a look at this and the hole is where there would be a bracket for the system that attached to the L shaped bracket that you get with it and it looks like it has possibly been caught on something in the road, in this case we couldn’t warrant the part as it is damage but what i can do is offer you another part at 25% discounted price

so looks like Im gonna get it weld up
