More RS Turbo's off the road than on?

Top Gear mentioned this site so thought i would have a look.

As far as i can see, more RS Turbos are declared as SORN than are Licensed each year!

you lot are mad. you have all these nice series 2s but what good are they hiding? you save them from being outside but you cause more harm leaving them for years and then trying to drive em thats what messes them up imo. i drive mine every day if the weather is good..... and i use it for work and shopping etc. and mines a 2litre zetec turbo with a paddle clutch quaiffe box etc so aint easy to drive either , however still enjoy it! come on lads get them out and about!!!! and get left with no money again hahaha

Think he means Quaife diff, I don't think it's a Quaife gearset. I'll let you know what it tops out at but I'm I worked out If I can get the car to rev to 6250 RPM mine will do 135MPH on 17's.

What good is any more than that on a public road

SORN had been around well before 2007 but in 2007 didnt they make the rule you had to either Tax or declare SORN? Recently i think they have made it an offence not to either Licence or SORN a vehicle you own?
